Faux Fur v2.0

okay so let's talk about faux fur & animal rights! I recently did a little research on the fur trade while I went through a few months as a vegetarian. (not eating meat is honestly not as easy as I thought it would be, but im going to give it another go and gradually take it out of my diet) did you know that every year there's about 50 million animals that are raised around the world purely for their pelts? and this number doesn't even include the 70 million bunnies that are killed... on top of that? there are 10 million wild animals that are trapped for their fur too. with these trap about 1 out of 10 animals that aren't even targeted (deer, eagles, porcupines) are caught & discarded as "trash" those numbers are outrageous...  don't spend money on real fur! you can find quality pieces that are made of synthetic fur & at like 1/10 of the price.. bunnies, seals, mink, foxes, chinchillas, polecats, raccoon dogs, and even dogs & cats are victims to the fur trade and that's not even the entire list. please encourage everyone around you to not invest in the murdering of these innocent animals.

on a less serious note, here's a fit featuring a few pieces from my asos, zara, and yru! this coat was actually purchase last year and it's honestly irreplaceable! and it's faux :) also I've been looking for the perfect pair of thigh highs and these ones are everything & more. I'm obsessed with platforms as you all probably already know, so these are my new favorites in my wardrobe.

this look features

sahara satin v front teddy in mustard by asos

shaggy fur coat by zara (I linked a similar shaggy piece from nasty gal since this one is from last winter)

labyrinth thigh highs by yru

layering necklace by paperdolls

all these photos were once again, taken by Cameron! @0nenightsworth he's definitely someone that makes shooting enjoyable. check him out.
